An alumnus of University of Delhi, where he did his Graduation in Chemistry (Hons.) as well Post-Graduation in Sales and Marketing from Faculty of Management Studies, Mr. Wahi is the Chairman & CEO of KHC Healthcare India Private Limited and Founder & CEO of KanHealthcare, effective Nov 9, 2005.
Mr. Wahi initiated and created the concept of Clinical Diagnostics in early 1980’s to bring in a revolutionary change in performing laboratory investigations in India. For this, he was trained extensively by Boehringer Mannheim in different parts of world, including his stay at Boehringer Mannheim, Montreal, Canada for many months.
Mr. Wahi travelled extensively all over India to create strong awareness on advancement in Clinical Diagnostics and developed a dependable infrastructure to create customers confidence. Rapid acceptances of advanced technology of wide range of Boehringer Mannheim, then led competitors to enter Indian Market. He served Boehringer Mannheim Diagnostics, subsequently acquired by Roche, and now known as Roche Diagnostics for many years as Country Head of India and was also on the Board of BMK to take up manufacturing of Diagnostic Reagents and Equipment in India.
Starting from nil sales, Boehringer Mannheim Diagnostics, under his leadership as the Country Head of India, reached US $ 6.0 million in India, which was considered impressive business at that time, when he decided to move to Delhi from Mumbai to join Wipro Biomed as its CEO, India in March 1990. Wipro Biomed is a Strategic Business Unit of Wipro Limited which is a USD 10 Billion plus global organization listed on National Stock Exchange of India and New York Stock Exchange in USA.
Mr. Wahi replicated the Business Model and added the concept of “Scientific Marketing” and value based selling to focus on training, presence in referral Hospitals, Laboratories, Pharmaceutical Organizations and Life Science Institutions and winning projects at premium over competitors. He diversified into Clinical Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Life Sciences space by having alliances with world leaders and focussed extensively on Beckman Coulter to address business fundamentals to take over leadership slot as well develop business for Fujinon, Hewlett Packard-Agilent, bioMérieux, Becton, Dickinson and Company, Adaltis, Bio-Rad, Promega, SCHWIND among others . He also added Mission Quality by implementation of 6 sigma and first toll free call centre.
Once again, starting from scratch, under his leadership, sales of Wipro Biomed continued to grow and reached US $ 17.0 million in India in the year 2005, when he decided to set up his own organization by synthesizing his 3 decades of learning & contribution to develop KHC Healthcare India Private Limited to work for in India.
Mr. Wahi is a hands-on business leader who believes in team work and continues to spend 30% of his time visiting Hospitals, Referral Laboratories, Stand Alone Pathology Laboratories, Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices organizations & Life Science Institutions all over India. He is fanatical in addressing customer’s requirement to encourage maximum utilization of improved technology, customer delight, care for his team, rapid and sustainable revenue and profit growth to stay ahead of competition.
It was Anuj’ s entrepreneurial business idea, creativity, leadership, operational and strategic vision that led to foundation of KanHealthcare on Nov 9th 2005 and subsequently KHC Healthcare India Private Limited, when he was 25 years old and had just returned from USA after living, studying and working in USA for little more than 5 years. Prior to returning to India, he decided with his father to do something of their own but only in specialized field of Healthcare products duly supported by comprehensive services.
Anuj focuses on customers and supporting Kanians to be successful in executing the relevant strategy & operations that benefit KHC Healthcare’s client segments which have immense cross-selling, the right approach to ensure KHC Healthcare on-going growth.
Under his leadership, starting from nil sales, KHC Healthcare has shown rapid growth to reach USD 16 million in sales revenue last year, as a focused Organization, in Speciality Clinical Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences market segments, besides creating a strong brand for 7 global industry leading brands across the country.
Anuj forte lies in bringing together his motivated leadership team by introducing & executing series of relevant innovations and execution on regular basis which produce desired results. He also ensures that his leadership team in-turn builds high performing teams in various business functions in the organization to fulfil the purpose, vision, mission and values of KHC Healthcare. Anuj’s deep operational knowledge and strategic insight has helped KHC immensely to drive business growth for all foreign associates in their respective fields.
His other key strength is to forge relationships and strategic tie-ups with world renowned organizations by having long term and exclusive associations, under mutual trust and respect at all times. Same, he applies with all key clients across India.

Anuj directs all commercial operations of KHC Healthcare India Private Limited & KanHealthcare throughout India with full P&L responsibility and provides leadership to teams in sales, distribution, marketing, product management, application support, engineering services, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, Accounts, Operations, IT, HR & Administration and also overseeing his team who manage Compliance, Legal and Regulatory Affairs.
Prior to KHC Anuj was working in Pennsylvania on H-1B work permit visa at Aesculap Inc. and was the Associate Product Manager for Neurosurgery products and thereafter for Spine Surgery products for North American market. He spent his time wisely, while pursuing his MBA in USA, and completed internships with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and strategy roles at GE and B.Braun Medical in Pennsylvania.
Anuj is an alumnus of Gannon University, Dhalkemper School of Business in USA from where he completed his MBA after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University of Delhi. He is also alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Indore from where he did his Senior Management Program.
